Former Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris is appointed as a new bowling coach of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC). Previously, he was the bowling coach of King XI Punjab (KXIP) but for Dream11 IPL 2020 season UAE which is starting from September 19, he is joining Delhi Capitals (DC) side.

For the previous two seasons of Indian Premier League, James Hopes was serving as a bowling coach for Delhi Capitals but he is unable to join the team for the upcoming IPL season 2020 due to some personal reasons.
“I am delighted to be back in the IPL,” the 40 year old pacer stated in a press release.“This is a huge opportunity for me to contribute to the franchise’s ambitions of lifting the coveted IPL trophy.” “The Delhi Capitals side has an impressive bowling line up, and I can’t wait to start working with them all,” he added.
Ryan Hariis has played 27 Test Matches for Australia in which he dismissed 113 players. He also played 21 ODIs in which he has taken 44 wickets, he also grabbed 4 wickets in three T20Is. Former Australian pacer also played 37 IPL matches in which he snapped up 45 wickets at an average of 23.57. He won the 2009 IPL title with Deccan Chargers. However, physical injuries forced him to take retirement in 2015.
After retirement at the age of 35, he started coaching assignments with the Australian team, Big Bash League side Brisbane Heat, and Kings XI Punjab in the IPL. Harris is joining Delhi Capitals including Ricky Ponting, Mohammad Kaif, Samuel Badree and Vijay Dahiya.
