IPL 2021: Dream11 back after VIVO Refused IPL Fantasy Sports Title Sponsorship Offer
IPL 2021 Official Sponsor: The world-famous Indian Premier League (IPL) has never been short of Sponsors since its inaugural edition in 2008. Dream11 tried to hold the title sponsorship rights of the IPL 2021 but failed. The fantasy game company offered 250 Cr to VIVO which they did not accept. However, Dream11 will be the IPL 2021’s Official Fantasy Partner.
Now, Dream11 is the official Fantasy Partner for IPL 2021 14th edition. Dream11 attempted to take the Title Sponsorship rights for IPL 2021 and made an offer to VIVO, but the deal could not go well as the offer of 250 Cr per annum was too low according to expectations of VIVO. Dream11 decided to get its previous position.
Talking about the VIVO IPL Deal, the BCCI suspended VIVO’s Rs 440 Cr per year deal last year because of the India China conflict across the country at Galwan valley, where 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in June 2020. But for IPL 2021 title Sponsor, BCCI confirmed the VIVO as title Sponsor.
According to resources, GROWW, an online trading and wealth management company is also joining IPL 2021 sponsors list by signing a 3 year contract which is valued Rs 45 Cr per annum. Aslo, BCCI informed that the League is also in discussion with two other brands to join the sponsors and BCCI is likely to have a 6th official partner before IPL 2021. The BCCI has already deals with Unacadmy and CRED as official partners.Tata Motors has completed their three year contract but they are also likely to renew it.
IPL 2021 Live Telecast: The IPL 2021 auction was live telecasted on Star Sports Network and IPL lovers can watch the IPL live telecast on the same network also. The IPL 2021 live streaming will also be available online Disney+HotStar and on JioTV.
