Euro T20 Slam Media Launch Featuring Yami Gautam And Wasim Akram
Euro T20 Slam is the world’s first ever continent based T20 cricket league and on Tuesday 30th April, the official announcement is to be made by a renowned Bollywood celebrity and two famous cricket legends. Euro T20 Slam is a league which is set in 3 countries, Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands.
Dilip Vengsarkar who played for India in 1983 world cup and now a cricket analyst and Wasim Akram, former Pakistani captain and also known as Sultan of Swing along with actress Yami Gautam will make the announcement, involving six franchise teams which are based in Rotterdam, Amsterdam from Netherland, Edinburgh, Glasgow from Scotland and Dublin, Belfast from Ireland.
Total 33 matches are going to be played over a three week period full of excitement for cricket fans in Dublin, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam. The final will be played on September 22 in Malahide.
This is an important league for the three countries as they can improve their rankings in T20I for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2020.
Minimum of nine domestic players will be included in Euro T20 Slam squads and a limit of maximum seven foreign players in each franchise. The big names are going to be announced on Tuesday April 30.
