The wait of IPL fans is finally over, The Indian Premier League Governing Council aka IPL GC has finally confirmed the IPL 2020 dates in a video conference. IPL 2020 was postponed due to the increasing number of CoronaVirus patients in India so the IPL GC decided to conduct the tournament in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The IPL 2020 matches will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi stadiums.
Vivo IPL 2020 will be played from 19th September to 10th November. The 13th Edition of Indian Premier League will consist of 53 day in which 10 afternoon matches will be played starting 15:30 IST and evening matches will start at 19:30 IST.
IPL Governing Council also debated about Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which will be confirmed and published in due course so that IPL 2020 season will be played in a secure environment.
IPL GC will also look upon the Player Regulations for replacement player for the 2020 season.
