The official decision will be taken in the BCCI AGM (Annual General Meeting) on December 24. The meeting will start at 12.

Before that, BCCI was considering conducting the full auctions for IPL 2021 but later on they decided to conduct the auctions only after the New Teams get inducted in the IPL 2022.

After that decision, IPL fans are wondering How and When IPL 2021 Mini Auctions wll be happened?

The Indian Board of Control of Cricket has decided to conduct IPL 2021 Mini Auctions sometime in February.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is India’s T20 domestic cricket tournament and it is starting from 10th of January to 31st of January. This tournament is a great opportunity for the IPL franchises to look for fresh blood for their teams.

IPL franchises which are in good form like Mumbai Indians are very happy with the IPL 2021 Mini Auctions as they do not need much changes in their team. But franchises like Chennai Super Kings which are looking for major changes in their squad after pathetic performance in IPL 2020 are disappointed with the decision.

After the IPL 2021 Mini Auctions date and time will be decided IPL franchises will start the process of releasing and retaining the players from their teams.
