Shahid Afridi Named Icon Player For Euro T20 Slam

Straight away from the Pakistan cricket team, well-known former player Sahid Afridi has made himself to be the part of Euro T20 Slam as icon player.  Plus on another side, famous South African Twenty20 team’s vice-captain JP Duminy and his country mate Imran Tahir will be counted as the six marquee players.  This tournament would be three weeks long that would be taking place in Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands from August 30.

Afridi will be part of six icon players all along with the famous name of Shane Watson from Australia, as well as Brendon McCullum from New Zealand as well as Rashid Khan from Afghanistan. Duminy and Tahir will be heading their way to join the likes of the Chris Lynn from Australia, and also Babar Azam from Pakistan and Luke Ronchi from New Zealand as marquee players.

There are still two icon players and one marquee player’s names whose name are not yet announced and will be confirmed soon.

The event would be happening to take place in the middle of six franchises whose names are Amsterdam Kings & Rotterdam Rhinos from the Netherlands, Glasgow Giants & Edinburgh Rocks from Scotland and Dublin Chiefs & Belfast Titans from Ireland.

Talking about Afridi, he is the leading and best wicket-taker in the T20 international cricket platform where he is much happy in becoming the part of such a big platform tournament in the middle of so many more significant players.  He even further said that he is much excited to be the part of this whole series and becoming a source of entertainment for the country fans.
