IPL 2021 Suresh Raina News: Chennai Super Kings Vice Captain Suresh Raina is all set to return for the 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). According to a report, a CSK official has given a statement that Raina will be back for Yellow Army in IPL 2021.
“He will be with us. There are no plans to part with him,” a CSK official said.
If Chennai Super Kings picks Raina for the upcoming season of IPL, they will have to sign a new contract as the last contract between Chinna Thala and CSK has ended in October 2021 after Raina came back from the United Arab Emirates.
Chennai Super Kings needs Raina badly after a disappointing finish in PL 2020 without him.
Raina was pulled out of IPL 2020 due to some personal reasons. He has returned to home after Corona Cases emerged in the CSK Camp in Dubai. There were also rumors that Raina had a clash with the CSK Team management over the hotel room he was allotted.

Earlier this week, Southpaw was arrested from a night Club in Mumbai for breaking Covid-19 rules with some other celebrities. Later, he gave a statement that he was not aware of the guidelines and timings issued by Maharashtra Government.
On his arrest, a CSK official has given a statement that this incident has nothing to do with franchises plans for IPL 2021 and Raina will be the part of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 14.“We have only read about the arrest. Our plans have nothing to do with that development. He will continue to be with us,” the franchise official was quoted by the paper.
Raina has retired from international cricket but he has declared that he will represent Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021.
Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will be played from 10th January to 31st.
