India Tour Austalia 2020 Schedule, Indian Team Squad, Venue, Live Streaming

Right after the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL), the Indian Cricket Team is scheduled to tour Australia from November 2020 to January 2021. This is the first international tour of India after the Covid-19 outbreak.

Indian Team is scheduled to play Four Tests, 3 One Day Internationals and 3 T20 Internationals in Australia.

On Monday, The Indian Cricket Team Squad was announced in a video conference and strangely, Rohit Sharma is not the part of any squad.

India Tour Australia Squads

Due to a hamstring injury, Rohit Sharma is not able to play any match of India Australia 2020 tour.Kuldeep Yadav and KL Rahul has been included to Team India’s Test Squad.The pacer Muhammad Siraj has also been called up for four match series as a replacement of Ishant Sharma.

In the absence of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul is named the vice captain of team India’s One Day and T20I’s squads.KL Rahul will also serve as Wicket-Keeper in the two formats.Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Varun Chakravarthy who picked up 5/20 in their last outing is also the part of the squad. 

The Indian Board of Control of Cricket (BCCI) said they will “continue to monitor the progress of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma.”
